Either that or go around making stupid threads like some folks and collect clown awards. I never actually knew how much you needed to spend to get them. xD

Kinda stupid how these are locked behind purchases...
Using CS:GO to purchase capsules "in game" to get points and sell the capsules on the Market after the 7 day cooldown. Minor loss for most of them but not a 100/$1 like the store.
Thousands of points per dollar.
- There upgrading showcases type, can upgrade only twice for type of showcase, each upgrade is 3000 points. Example achievements level 1 has one row, upgrade cost 3000 points to get level 2 to have two rows, and final upgrade level 3 another 3000 points to have 3 rows.
- There additional showcase, can have a 2nd showcase of the same type, meaning can have two achievement showcases, they cost 6000 points.
Please note upgrade also affects the additional showcase, so if you level your achievements showcase it also levels your additional showcase of it as well, so only total 9000 points to have additional & both be level 3.
There are ways to get points.
- People can award you points for your posts, reviews, screenshots, workshop, guides, artwork, video, or your profile.
- You can buy games, DLC, or in-game microtransactions. Please note that buying from market place does not give you Steam points. You can sell items on market place to get steam wallet funds, and spend those funds via Steam store on games, DLC, or in-game microtransactions which will give you Steam points.
