How many steam accounts do you have?

I’m just curious how many steam accounts do you have?

I’m just asking myself why a lot of people have 3 and more and for what reasons

mostly cause some games where locked with game accounts that needed to be deleted inorder to migrate the game, unfortunatly creating a new account was easie to migrate the game.

then learning that steam deck also required a second account unles you do not want to be logged into steam on your desktop.

also its a good idea to have a forum account just for forum converstation because alot of users become targets with high level steam accounts full of items and getting random invites from users wanting to scam you.

also there is the gaming hubs that continuously stop users from commenting when they are angry a user doesn't agree with the game.

also owning a second or 3rd computer to allow friends to play games side by side with you would also take a steam account for each computer.

then there is the community hub that basicly acts the same as the game hubs but only when its on issues regarding steam.

also there is the limited posting issues and maybe you can't get everything on your mind in on just one forum account.

then there is the account you use to actually buy games on that you don't use for anything else because of how dangerous steam is it is better to not engage with the steam community with a real steam account.

thats at least 7.

but steam accounts are nothing when compared to google accounts, you basicly need a google account for every phone, every tablet and console you own.

1 (this one) and a temporary one that I only held when me and Steam worked for over a month after a perishing attack on this account so I could still play games and entertain myself, dont even recall the alt accounts user name or its log in details so cant say its a big issue

I made my main one around 2004 and didn't like my login name after a few years so I made this one, then I made another one to use as a dedicated server (since using your main account is discouraged due to credentials being saved), and another to use the API key - same reason as keeping dedicated server account separate, then I made another to use on a different PC, and another for my kid to have.

So I guess I have around 4-6 Steam accounts.
