You can get 32GB RAM for as cheap as just 50€. About 30€ for a 16GB kit. And that's brand new, used would be even cheaper.
There is nothing Obsolete between Win 7 and Win 10.
Win 10 brings nothing new but ugliness, dysfunctionality and lack of control over the OS & PC.
DX-12 has yet to be proven as superior to DX-11, most real gaming charts show at most a 10% gain, nothing to change a whole PC about. Also, DX-12 can be ported to Win 7.
New Cryptography can definitely be installed in Win 7, stand alone install or update.
If you argued XP vs 7, yes, there were a lot of new improvements between the 32bit only OS and the 32/64bit OS - more ram, larger storage, USB 3.0, PCIE-2.0 and up, better CPUs and support, etc... All these do not manifest in 7 to 10 passage. And the fact that Microsoft demands specific HW on some PCs means it's a DOWNGRADE. 11 is not much better but that is the Experimental stage to Win 12, which will probably be "Gates: all your computerz are belongz tah me.".
