Yeah um I pretty much doubt that. Seeing that feature has stayed off for all of the years I've had Win10 installed.
Now while you make such claims it sounds ridiculous because of the next statement.
Never had any ads on Win10.
Not one. This goes for both Win10 and Win11.
yep, "didnt happen to me, so it never happened".
Hehe funny and long list of kb ,)
Here is a list of updates offered by Microsoft related to telemetry and/or upgrading to Windows 10
https://us.informatiweb.net/tutorials/it/windows/windows-7-8-8-1-disable-windows-tracking-systems-telemetry--4.html
And some are also on w10 like KB3150513 ,)

This update will be offered only if the following prerequisite updates are installed:
....
No clue where you get your list from @kominaru ,)

Uh huh. I went to Youtube to see if anyone was raging about this. Nope. Can't find any videos about Windows 10 turning that option back on.
So lets see if Google has anything. Still nothing.
You'll only get guides on how to turn it off.
I'm calling bs on your statement that it turns on automatically for a "ton of people".
I doubt it turns on at all but people forgot to turn it off in the first place.
Why do you constantly have to try and make yourself look bad in failed attempts to try and undermine someone?
Hello
Not different order ....

No need to verify all...
Where did you get your list, source please ?
Why are you trolling again? Oh, I'm sorry, when copy pasted the list, I missed few. Again, what's your point, since not even related to the current discussion at hand?
win 7 doesnt have ads...
That simple.
It has telemetry that cannot be disabled without a custom ISO. Unlike 10.
Which one please ?
But here's the things, all the telemetry everyone is complaining about, is harmless and sends data like, 1-3 times a year if that. Doesn't collect anything personal etc etc.
By nature, every télémetry is harmless ...Most of them are used for company to improve their products or business in some way.
All that can lead to some shaddy practices, like we have seen recently with amazone, epic, google and some others ....
It's not a reason that we can easily disable most of them .
And about core kernel w7, i am ready to trust you but give us a source
First time I ever installed windows 10 I was getting ads on my lock screen ..
Which are very easy to turn off and never see again.
