If I were to write "omg bro ur liek teh omega noob roflcopter lmfao" it would be aggressive.
But I can tell a user not to use X, Y or Z as it's a noob trap and they're better off using something else in a game that would be more beneficial.

calling people names negatively is not good...
Seriously. If the word'noob' is enough to hurt your feelings you might just want to stay off the forums, or out of multiplayer games .
Why do you focus on 'noob', when it's no different than 'newb'. Both have the same meaning, are used in the same context. I mean. Does the phrase newbie become suddenly offensive when it loses a syllable?
I’m still a noob. I’m I going to get banned now?
