Windows 7 Steam Client optimization: how decrease memory consumption if you not have high-end computer.

Hi everyone! Dudes, ladies and especially my wife, who said she would spank me with a whip if I didn't say hello to her.

I have not high end computer on Windows 7 (with only 32GB Ram) and my favorite game Icarus

have very high memory consumption. I wanted buy more Ram for my computer, but my wife forbade me to do it.

I try to decrease memory usage by unload all programs that I not needed. Game start work better. After that I look that some “steamwebhelper.exe” (8-9 processes) got 1 Gb of memory summary and try to kill this processes but nothing happened, they all reinit and reload.

1. After that I use Process Explorer (Mark Russinovich) and Suspend Main steamwebhelper.exe process as a result i succeeded to delete another SUBprocesses “steamwebhelper.exe”. Memory usage decreased!

2. After I think, is it possible to Full delete All "steamwebhelper.exe" process and go to c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\cef catalog (CEF= Chromium Embedded Framework)

First full unload Steam, then I right click on CEF catalog go to properties> Security tab > Advanced -> Edit Permissions…” and uncheck “Add permissions inherited from parent objects” (about it in detail you can read on Google). In this manner I delete ALL permission from catalog c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\cef
Of course after that GUI Steam client stop working, BUT my game continued to run from desktop shortcut. I check, my game not only loads, but also continues to work correctly, given that it requires Steam Account ID validation to load savegames.
Steam client without GUI also works correctly. Got a little longer initialization because for a short time works “steamerrorreporter.exe”, but overall it's good.

Using the above I additionally freed 1Gb memory! On current moment there is no other way because Steam disable flag –no-browser. My Icarus start work faster and lags decreased!

PS I hope you understand WHAT and WHY I write it's all above. On current moment I HAVE: windows 7 and worked correctly Steam Client absolutely WITHOUT GUI (CEF= Chromium Embedded Framework). I hope I don't need to write anything more.
