Dead for people like you.
Dead for people that thinks Python need higher number OS in "inf file" to run while simple patch can make it run even on WinXP.
If python developers was not D1ck5 then you will not even give a F about this topic :)
----------------------------
I will laugh hard when you cannot upgrade to Windows 12 as your 10th Gen CPU cannot run calculator.exe. :)
Well puppets like you, like to lick shoes of fake marketing.
Go on defend multibilionare Ga85N that not give F about you :)
you are fine running dosbox.
dosbox is an emulator, not an OS (well technically its a sand boxed OS, kinda like a VM for dos, which is also another choice you can use to run DOS outside of installing it as a main OS), dosbox is used to play old dos games, in general, you can basically drag and drop the exe of an old dos game(s) into the dosbox window and it will load and run them.

thanks wanted to be sure :)
rather than make fun and make yourself look foolish in the process , could you give some basic information on potential Dosbox vulnerability?
added more relevant info in my last comment.
but i guess i could be wrong.. lol.. /s
you can run a standalone, or you can run it through something like retroarch/ect.. those frontend's for emulators work quite nicely, compared to tons of standalones by themselves.
you can even find retroarch here on steam for free...
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1118310/RetroArch/
though i use the one from their site and its free as well and if you actually stick with win 7, you might want to use the one from the site, seeing as steam may or may not slowly start having connection issues later on ;)
retroarch also supports win 7 and above
Thanks I use Dosbox a lot and the most danger I thought could come of it was if putting it in charge of C: not that I have ever tried it even for laughs.
For me I won't be able to access star wars multiplayer I am guessing. Buying games through steam would not be an issue as I discovered GoG so the interface bit will not be required.
Maybe when some games stop working I will be disappointed because of DRM magic.
Will I miss these forums ?
Probably I will likely be forced to go back into wikipedia for my fix on what to do when figuring something completely unrelated out in code.
Number of people I would miss.
ya, dosbox has zero control over your system, your fine using it and it was made specifically to run dos games.
i also added more to my recent comment, about retroarch if you already dont know about it.
