Paypal not available?

For some reason I can't add Paypal *Anywhere* on steam as a Payment option. :/ It stopped working last year and now it just won't even list it for me, I live in america by the way, so I was wondering if anyone else had that problem...

There's no option on the sipport website to fix this so I have no clue how to get it to be available... :/ My boyfriend can Pay with Paypal but why not me?

I have been using Paypal for years on Steam with no issues.
I no longer can use it either.
Just tried to buy something with Paypal, and got an unspecified error from Steam.

If i remember right it's because Steam uses a outdated embedded google chrome and Paypal blocks it.

Thanks. I used to use Paypal to pay my Electric Bill (several months ago) and it quit working there as well. I think it is time to delete my Paypal account.
Edit: I deleted Paypal and not looking back.

I think the Google Chrome extension issue might be correct. I couldn't find PayPal as an option when using the app, but it was there when I logged into Steam via a web browser.

It's like my Account has been flagged for No Paypal. :/ No matter where I do it Paypal is not an option... I Checked on both Opera GX and Edge and I know for a fact that my account is in America.

When using Steam app on my iPhone, I couldn't use PayPal as an option to pay for my purchase, but when using the steam client or website on a computer, PayPal is available as a purchase option.
Will the Steam Tech Team please help fix this issue, thanx

I used Paypal yesterday, although I'm UK not US.

As for Valve comments you'll need to speak to support as they won't comment here. Although it's worth noting Tuesday is their maintenance day which can cause things to mess up for the next couple of days.

Paypal costs more than using your debit card or bank account. Especially when you do conversion rates.
