Want to purchase game but cant due to lack of payment options
Ive manage to get money for a game ive been wanting for a couple years now (Ravenfield) and when I went to purchase it, it doesn't have many acceptable payment options (None of which I have)

If it helps, I live in the UK and I use a Santander Debit Card

Shouldn't be an issue. UK debit cards are either Visa or Mastercard. Both work on Steam.

EDIT: Specific banks are not listed. Select Visa or Mastercard from payment options.

I'm in the UK and have no issues using a Mastercard Santander Debit Card.

Didn't know that as I don't bank with Santander. I did say Visa or Mastercard, both are options regardless of the bank. I've used 3 different banks debit cards and I've never had to select the bank only Visa or Mastercard

Is it your card?
If it is and you have money in your account there shouldnt be an issue.
This just sounds dodgy.

Are you saying that I can use Visa or Mastercard even if I don't specifically have either one of them?

Ive got a Santander with the Mastercard logo, I take it that means I should be able to use Mastercard?

If payment options are an issue, why not buy a steam wallet code at your local store with cash and simply add the value to your steam account?

Another good option would be to let your friends gift you games directly via steam, and you can pay them back later.

That's exactly the point with co-branding payment cards. Yes. If it has a Mastercard logo on it, it works as a mastercard. If it has a Visa logo on it, it works like a Visa card.

So choose that it's a Mastercard.
