How it will work is that there will be a statute of limitations clock that begins to tick as soon as steam does something like this.
A class action will be filled within that time frame.
So still a ways off.
I can assure you that this time around there most certainly will be a class action lawsuit under these circumstances. Further, this will flush out a bunch of ethics issues that have long needed to be addressed as well with all parties involved. They will settle because they do not want to be deposed and exposed for their unethical practices.
