This EA Steam Link is Garbage - Bought the game and won't link EA Steam 0 playtime refused my refund NFS Unbound

I tried all the fixes people have tried to get this working, I even created another EA account to see if it was the last resort link fix. Bought it on sale for $36 through Steam. Tried for 3 hours- press play game, login to ea account, pair steam names accept..... Next page "oops something went wrong with the linking process, go to steam and try again." I even verified the local files, updating everything (everything game and pc related already was anyway) just to go through this process 100 times. Steam support on this issue will say "It's an EA game go get help from them." EA support won't do anything about it either. Steam refused my refund, cause after working and finally getting a good chunk of time to play this for the 1st time it's passed there 14 day refund window. Though I and in the steam refusal email shows I have played the game "0.0 hours." This is b'sh, what happened to the good old days when you bought a game in earnest... had it installed on your pc... and since it was installed go figure you can play the f' game. You chooche money grubbing Steam (The company and employees) thieves, have a soul please.

During the course of my life, people have stolen from me numerous times. This feels exactly the same and it is the same. You took money from someone and literally gave them nothing in return except for a bad memory in exchange.

Go through the refund process again but instead select this highlighted option https://i.stack.imgur.com/tGEEH.png to submit a manual ticket and explain everything clearly in there. As it stands, you are outside of the refund policy on both counts so you will be rejected every time if you go through the normal refund request route.

Yep, need to get past the auto process and be looked at by an actual human. And, hopefully this goes without saying, should also refrain from phrases like "You chooche money grubbing Steam (The company and employees) thieves, have a soul please."

Solved- While looking up in EA forums on the re-link process and people having the same issue. Somebody found the reason and the fix for this problem many have, and usually people give up trying to find out the fix. My name had brackets in it on steam....... if it does or has funky symbols in it, during the link process with EA application it rejects it every time and for every solution.

Solve- All you have to do is change your alias in steam to something basic, retry the link process and it links right away (restart apps after name change and wait a little bit). NFS Unbound working, and this will solve the problem for many with having EA app. games through steam.... Take note everyone =()
