Do we have1 Steam Acount or 2?

2 PC's (my grandsons and mine). Both PC's use the same Microsoft Account. I thought we had 2 separate Steam accounts. His PC shows only his games, My PC shows only mine. Just purchased 2 copies of Minecraft Legends. We can only get online with one Minecraft Legends at a time.

If the game needs an ms Account then of course you need two different ones.

minecraft requires its own microsoft account as mojang accounts merged with microsoft accounts a few years ago

Requires 3rd-Party Account: A Microsoft Account is required to play Multiplayer (Co-Op and PvP), use the Marketplace, or access Lost Legends (Supports Linking to Steam Account)

You each need a seperate Steam account and a seperate Microsoft account.

I set up a new Steam Account and a New Microsoft Account. I signed in with the new Steam Account and borrowed copy #2 of Minecraft Legends from my original account. Same problem. My copy of the Game (copy #2) is linking to my old microsoft account and will not allow copy#1 to go online when it is running.

its not steam related u need a 2nd microsoft account

The problem started when you linked your first Steam account to the old MS account.
