A friend missing from friend list
Hi guys, so there was a friend on my friend list. Now missing and I don't know if I accidentally removed her or if she deleted her account.

It's a long time ago, pretty sure we played coop in a few games.

Some years ago I added people to trade items (Grim Dawn and Borderlands 2 specifically). Sometime after that I decided to declutter my list. Her name was possibly changed into something I didn't recognize perhaps?

So I wanna ask if there's any chance I can ask Steam support to dig up the data and tell? If she removed her own account it's okay, was kinda an introverted person. But I sure as hell wanna recover the contact if I deleted by accident.

Thanks for reading guys.

Only method I can think of Steam friend history from 3rd party sites if had recorded it beforehand.

If you had talk to her within the last 2 weeks can check your chat history under Steam help section.

If you traded with her before can check your trade history.

If you, and her share same friend, can check known friend, friend list that way.

If you're in the same group with her such as forum, or chat group you can check that way.

There is no point in asking Steam Support, they won't do such a thing. You can use Steamid to find historical friends (ergo people you're not friends with anymore).

Thanks bros. She's Russian so at least the nickname was somewhat unique. It was... almost 5 - 7 years ago? Hella regret we didn't have anything to trade back then, the trade history does go back in details.

My old Tera Online crew lost a friend recently. Passed away. So I ended up checking my list. She was the only one I didn't have on facebook/discord/chat apps, geez.

Its also possible that she simply removed you from her friend list.
I regularly prune out all the accounts i did not talk to once in like 6+ months.
If you had no contact for years, maybe she removed you from her list.

I know, just... you know, have that feeling of wanting to check if a friend is still sound. There's a little prob: I searched my id on steamrep, it shows just fine but when I typed in the other name I got a 127.0.0.1 refused to connect. It's the site or smt from my side?
