Setting Preferences in Steam Store

I keep getting messages when searching DCS products that items have been hidden due to my preferences but no matter how I set them on off check uncheck it makes no difference it still hides up to 22 items of DCS content.

Steam has been unstable sine the latest update that had me and from what I've read a lot of people stuck in an endless download loop. I gather the preference bug is part of the latest awe inspiring update, Steam is starting to behave like DayZ.

Is this in the Steam search, the store page or dlc page? Any tags excluded? Any specific language selected?

It's not filtering out any for me.

Any new preference adjusted restart Steam client to save new settings. Dont just close it actually log out and exit log in again.

It's in the DLC section of DCS I've tried logging in and out after changes made and still behaves the same. I've tried to find terrain maps in the DCS DLC and the filter says 7 hidden items due to your preference selection. I tried empty check boxes and it was still the same behaviour so it has me stuck unable to view DCS products I want to purchase.
