Doom series for shooters, Secret Of Mana is one of my favorite RPG's, and the list goes on.
There is one game though, that I play for over 30 years, Chess, for me, it is more than just a game, it is a way of life, philosophy, a game where people still discover new tactics after thousands of years, a game that can make and break people.
For a single player........ I can not answer that question.... there is not one....
If we’re looking at hours played, either COD4 2007, Halo 3 on Xbox, DayZ or FF14
Honestly though Assassin's Creed Black Flag is definitely one of my all-time favorites. I love the gameplay, story and the open world. I kinda wish some of the other games had similar gameplay.
