An indie game, My Days In Belair? One you have owned since last year?
And less then two week since purchase.
If you read that and still buy the game then there is really no one to blame but yourself.
If you dont want to take that risk then as you already wrote, DONT buy games in Early Access and wait for full release.
You see? That detective award is much needed.
Would you buy a game because they promised stuff coming in a following DLC? Or would you wait for the DLC to release before buying the game? Would you ask about a refund if you bought the game but the promised DLC never happened or was canceled?
Refund money doesn't materialise by magic.
