Note scams going from forum spam, to discord spam is just the flip side of the same coin. Scammers go to where they think they will profit, and discord isn't any different than having a forum. Discord is just bigger so the scams are more prevalent there. If the uplay forums were' big' enough they'd be spamming there. Hell the steam forums have had so much spam in the past that has only been mitigated over the years via several restriction mechanisms. They're just moving from different mechanisms, models, etc as the user base moves to different places. Like PM spam on the steam forums of 'moderators' used to be a thing too.
