True, but I do like badges. I don't really use the stickers since my friends are on other chat apps when we game together. 🙃

There is one, you just need to be on here for 20 years, I get mine on the 17th (damn problems Steam had at launch).

I think it's just a color swap for those who were originals when Steam released. I don't think it's an additional badge.

The "Years of Service" badge increments one level for each year you were a member. You get an additional 50xp per level of the badge.

What would you want as an additional badge? Steam 20th Anniversary Celebration badge? Personally I thought they would do something bigger, kind of weaksauce celebration. But a badge? Not one of the things I had in mind.

Steam is my platform of choice and been a customer of Valve since before the Steam release, I started playing when Counter Strike was released.

The only reason I wanted a badge is that they used to celebrate different sales/events with them. Now most of the time it's through spending points on the seasonal badge or crafting Steam sale cards. They even cut down on the seasonal badges to only two seasons when they did at one time have a spring one.

That's the reason I didn't expect one. But announcing a new franchise or something, something they'd been working on in secret, would've been so cool (if done well offcourse). A Steam only release, I think they missed a great opportunity.

...as for a badge... The Monolith[upload.wikimedia.org] with the steam logo in it would be cool :P
