Steam game discussion pages are useless now

[Dweller Beyond the Threshold]

One thing I liked about Steam is the convenience of having a forum board attached to each game where you can talk about the game, ask questions etc.

But now every board I go to, the first thing I see is "iS tHis GAmE wOKe", "LGBT", "pronouns".

Legit questions about the gameplay, lore discussions etc are completely drown out whereas these troll topics get dozens and dozens of replies.

Truly sad to see.

Only place I have seen this is Starfield forum, so that's a non-issue I would say, considering people that write said things have the right to and don't prevent you from creating a thread about actual gameplay. Also wouldn't be that much "troll" (seriously it's time to stop using this word everytime you see something you don't agree with) if the game wasn't that much pushing on the american agenda.

so, there is definitely a lot of complexity to that one "little" thing nvm what all else the game may include alongside that thought.

I don't seem to remember people saying they loved the character customization in that game. In fact, quite the opposite. I remember people saying it was barebones and underdelivered, overpromised, just like the rest of the game.

Before launch I was excited myself because I thought there would be so much depth to it, and you'd be able to change things like all your cybernetics and augments and look really crazy like some of the NPCs/side characters do. Nope, none of that though.
