Ah, so you preach about propriety, respect, and decency but offer none. Got it, thanks for making that clear.
What? You are writing nonsense. You are making assumptions and yet you blindly encourage a topic a premise to exclaim 'Steam discussions are useless now'? And then you stamp your way in thinking you own the discussion? Oh my I have now read far too much.
Yet fold and collapse when faced with the reasons and the ingredients of why?
I'm out your're on your own. You're just another nail in the narrative anyway.
Articulate and intelligent retort is not to be found here. Bye now. BLOCKED.
It is seriously far easier teaching and speaking with a child.
Funny, thats what a lot of people say who dont want current day BS in their escapist games.
Never even mind whatever that was you were trying to say about this thread...
but sure, whatever it is you are trying to say about me.... you are so right.
so, there is definitely a lot of complexity to that one "little" thing nvm what all else the game may include alongside that thought.
do you opt in to the option? or are you forced to make the choice?
you should probably stop trying to tell people what they should or shouldnt do... though.
Even if the option didn't exist, you would have pronouns regardless. Everyone has pronouns. It's an inherent part of language.
I don't understand why it now being a separate option is an issue. It just means more customization for people who want it, and for the people who don't you simply select the pronoun that "matches" your character's sex or gender. This is a genuine question - why is it an issue? Would it bother you less if you have a check box to tick off the option and just have it automatically match the character's body? Does someone really need that extra step just because something that doesn't matter past the character creation screen bothers them that much?
There are lots of things in every single game I've ever played with character customization, on the customization screen that I just know I will never use. But there's no reason for me to complain about it existing because that just means it's not for me. It doesn't mean that someone else won't appreciate it though.
Here, lets use an example.
What game didnt use pronouns, and most people loved the creation process.
cyberpunk 2077.
What did cyberpunk 2077 not have?
Enjoy.
Before launch I was excited myself because I thought there would be so much depth to it, and you'd be able to change things like all your cybernetics and augments and look really crazy like some of the NPCs/side characters do. Nope, none of that though.
