Trade Hold for 2 days

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled steam on my phone, because I thought it was giving me trouble. I signed in (with a new password) but I wasn't able to access my authenticator because of it and had to do the process of getting a new code to sign in. Even though I did not remove the mobile authenticator from my account, Steam is giving me a 2 day trade hold. Do I need to wait for 2 days to start trading again or do I need to wait for 7 days such as when installing the authenticator or in other scenarios? Hope that makes sense.

that's what it's supposed to do...

idk why they literally will not let you opt out of that nonsesnse, despite their not actually requiring you to use it and the TOS clearly stating they won't do anything if you go get yourself "hacked"...

2 day holds on trades for the following 2 days.

2 day holds on Market listings for about the following 36 hours. Market purchases are not affected.

Thank goodness you did not disable it.
