And come on... Redfall is an abysmal game.
Have you ever considered that the vast majority, e.g. those 90% of players, never once experienced this stuttering you speak of? And that those who do experience such stuttering are simply an unlucky minority.
Then there amount of people that bought, and review the game.
Let see....
Last of us was a hot mess, it was Sony worse launch release because people expected decent to good experience, not hot mess that took sometime to even resolve the huge issues.
Redfall.... We don't talk about it....
Jedi survivor that release it in such a bad state like last of us, they didn't even bother to review their game before shipping it took them sometime to even admit their problems to it, and shouldn't have slack off that badly as they're known to make decent games on launch.
Warhammer dawn of war 3... basically pulled a no man sky, overhyped, lied about somethings, and offer a crap cheap indie game experience, where it's basically becomes the worse RTS of all Warhammer dawn of war series, and that says a lot if it the the worse...
For me Hogwarts biggest problem is its demanding performance requirements. It's not something people will praise the game over, but it's also not something where people should review it badly either if they can tolerate it. Aside from that it's seemed like a perfectly decent game to me.
it boggles my mind that you think people should review game B badly because they reviewed game A badly. No one is stopping you from reviewing games how you want. No one is obligated to review games as you choose to either. Maybe turn some of your biases down from an 8 to a 2, and accept that others have different experiences than you, like it or not.
Simple question, do you have the game installed on a SSD? That was the #1 factor for me that completely eliminated all stuttering.
Jedi survivor = Have a lot to live for its previous title.
Redfall = Most people hate Bethesda for reusing same old method same way as ubosoft does for hes games.
The last of us = Great game in consoles, have have a poor port on pc.
Warhammer 3 = Same with Jedi Survivior, lots or previous titles to live for.
Hogwarts Legacy = Something new and and experimental. Just a shot in the dark. Only previous titles ware ports from movies/books.
People except bug free, glitch free, multiplayer, MMO, 5€/free game with 80€ worth of content, graphics and 10 years worth of free dlc/expansion packs every single game. If one of these doesn't happen, game is literally unplayable and not worth their time or if it is then they will either download it for free or wait for 99% sale.
Me = Don't care, i enjoy the game as it is, then complain after finishing it.
3 out of 4 lof your examples have allways been held up as some best games of their year only redfall really got alot ♥♥♥♥ sorry but the whining of one twitter usser isnt enough to constitute being bashed
This patch makes unofficial patch fix and other fixes becomes unusable and FPS stutters come back again.
It's a beautiful game, nice music, easy and fun gameplay with decent story...
Upgrade GPU, disable RT, avoid astrology tower and Hogsmaede...
I play in native 4K 60fps no stutters. I prefer to disable DLSS/FSR if i can (hate shimmering).
One of the few games I don't mind DLSS and performance wise I didn't really need it.
1440p 21:9 Ultra 165fps constantly and no stutters at all, sometimes it pays to play a game after a few patches.
Game is quite unique and with the Harry Potter IP its enjoyable and like you said fun and easy.
Correction, mostly in high end hardware. Lower end is just fine.
