They don't sell WC3 anymore, only the unfinished reforged with a weird artistic style.

Blizzard is such a disappointing company, instead of firing HotS people they should've made WC3 Reforged in SC2 engine.

And Overwatch was replaced by this abomination with macrotransactions and battle pass, so instead of earning lootboxes by playing the game and buying skins for free credits you have to spend money on everything even if you paid for original game.

This very seems very likely due to the microsoft acquisition. This was the day the deal was supposed to close, so this was all already most likely in the works.

Them portraying it as doing it for the players and not because this was Microsoft's plan anyway seems like a bunch of PR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Awesome news!

Many of us were hoping it was going to be happen - there were a lot of naysayers - but this is a step in the right direction.

They didn’t drop the Bethesda launcher right away either, so that’s hopefully in the works.

Edit: Different reports but it seems we’re done with the launcher for Steam and we just need an account.

I just want Diablo 2 and Lost Vikings on Steam.

They all need their own client on top of Steam.

With OW2, that makes sense. It's an online game. There's no word yet what other games will make the leap and no word if those games will also require an account.

If D4 jumps, you can bet it will require an account. But if D1 + Hellfire jump and STILL require an account, that's when I'll cry foul.

Oh, the Warcraft series would be great and so would StarCraft 2 - never got to play the later expansions.

A fair attitude considering ActiBliz's past. I'm still smarting over the love letter I got this year for downloading D1+Hellfire for personal use when I own copies of both (optical drive died and was waiting for a replacement) so it legally falls under personal, private use (love letter said there was no legal reason for me to "obtain copies" of the game).

But, hopefully, the Microsoft buyout will improve things. That is to say, unless current anti-trust proceedings splinter them again like they did after the Browser Wars.

its funny you mention heroes of the storm because thats where the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that caused me to quit out right finally got under my skin. i waited 4 months trying to appeal that false flag and they 404 the appeals page. they made it very clear how they felt about my money and im glad they are going under.
