Within 30 minutes of me posting a User's account that has slurs and death threats in it, I was 3 day banned for 'NaMiNg AnD sHaMiNg'
Said reported account has been temp banned seven times for making death threats towards trans people and 'leftists'.
Meaning Valve will 3 day ban me for idiocy like 'NaMiNg AnD sHaMiNg' withing an hour, while allowing someone making death threats to do it 7+ times.
Almost like they pick and choose who they punish. Like corrupt mods.
Don't care.
If the Valve mods were actually good at their role, it would not have come to this.
At least it was an easy one to verify; the aforementioned account has literal death threats in it, along with a slur.
The fact that the user has been allowed to reinstate his account seven times and counting, however, is unforgivable on Valve's part.
Yet I get a 3 day time out for 'making and shaming' TWICE.
Really feels like Valve mods pick and choose who gets what punishment based on whims.
Steam doesn't completely remove accounts unless it's extreme circumstances. There's been one documented case where the user made alts to threaten Steam staff and spam support tickets for over a year.
The most they will do to the account you're talking about is a permanent community bank which will prevent them from changing anything on their profile.
A Russian user. It happened years ago.
And if Valve disagrees, then there's a problem with Valve.
But since he targeted them towards certain people; I am pointing out that he targeted them towards certain people.
Not extreme enough to remove an account.
A community ban would literally stop the issue.
If you have issues with support's decision, contact them.
and what's more makes ANOTHER thread........
