Steam logs out every time I shut down/Close it
Every time I shut down my computer or closes steam it logs me out complete and I have to re-log even with the check box marked that it should "Remember me" This started happening after the new steam update and UI change. Before that update steam always saved my info and I never had to re-log or use the steam mobile app to either use my steam guard code or the QR scan to get back in, this also includes just closing it and reopening it, it always had the info saved and I only had to choose my account and it would log back in. But now it doesn't do that at all anymore and the info is never saved.

Is this happening to anyone else?

P.S I didn't see a forum title about this if anyone did a post about it.

Yikes. Maybe add this to the old features that are now broken list.

It might not have anything to do with the update, i don't have these issues.

If you use any third-party software like an anti-virus, cleaners, etc disable them. This issue is generally caused by stuff like this or is an indication of bigger issues outside of Steam.

Opt out of Steam beta updates if you're opted in those.

Steam Beta has fixed most client issues, such as silent mode on startup.

I don't know. As I mentioned, it started happening as soon as steam UI and all changed. All of the things you mentioned is disabled. Why I am so confused to why this is suddenly happening.
