friend request is waiting response keeps popping up
it pops up every time i open steam even tho hes already my friend.
any one have this and can you make it stop?

I have the same issue with trade notifications from May. They reappear every few days.

Yep, I'm having it as well, pops up after every computer restart, even tried removing and re-adding the friend in question.
