Notifications work correctly. I receive all notifications, they come immediately, there are no old or phantom notifications.

don't waste your time. valve doesn't care about these 20 year old forums. they didn't get updated.

i do believe that from my experience of games that have issues where the devs ignore the issues and ignore feedback, there's zero reason to use these forums if your intention is attempting to better steam. someone has an idea they perceive is better and will shoot down your idea because of their hidden rules. when it doesn't matter either way, valve doesn't care about either of your ideas.

3. Green orange colour - nature
4. White gold colour - like the white Power Rangers
5. Lake water colour
6. Pink white colour - for girls
7. Green white brown colour

we aren't shooting down your idea's im just restating that we already went into a deep discussion about this topic and why alot of this is just on your end not ours or valves end and implementing changes takes time and valve have repeatedly stated that they want to pour time into something technological or more worth it these are bugs not able to be recreated by most of the steam members community ontop of that valve also has a contract stating that they do not want to interact with the steam community as much as possible because they have proven to be pretty dumb when it comes to certain choices valve makes (most ogs remember the mapping disaster caused by the steam community )

you can't assume you know how someone else thinks. that's called madness, because if it worked we'd all be rich beyond our wildest dreams.

i get what you're saying. as i said, i blame win11 because it was only since using win11 when these issues happened. i simply do not use the steam client as it's too buggy.

I think they are messing it up because of the Steam Deck. Once that came around, all these awful updates started coming around and continue to.

Constant issues, lame notifications screen and everything else. I wish we could revert changes or something.

I also wish I could edit my whole profile, not just the left side lol. Remember how you could edit your profiles on Myspace, Vampirefreaks etc? (old sites, I know but the profile editing was cool)

Could have music players on your profile along with videos etc. But yeah, main point, this "New Steam" is not great at all.

Yup.
My Steam Client is so broken that I have to enter Big Picture mode to change some settings because context and drop down menus don't work.
In that mode, it gives me Steam Deck options and displays in the Steam Deck resolution.

Well they just recently got the steam web page and youtube linked and working again so you can add videos but the description section is all missing, after they broke it, but I guess it's baby steps 👶👣 ¯\_(°_°)_/¯
