I HATE new Steam update!!!

Yes, it's being a while, but I was hoping for issues to be resolved by Valve.
I'm not happy to play a guinea pig, and I'm not happy with not having an option of disabling all those new bells and whistles I don't care about. But oh well - it's their house, their rules. Right? WRONG! It's suppose to be made for customers to use and enjoy, and right now I'm NOT ENJOYING it!
And usually I'm not very ready to voice my opinion since other people are more vocal with the same issues...
But today I had enough! It's so annoying!!! Maybe I've got up on the wrong foot but it feels so irksome right now!!!

I do not care for all those new "features" that eat my time and computer resources to load.
I do not care for "all package" be accessible on my tablet and/or phone when all I want to do is just to verify my Steam log in / trade / whatever.
And I do not care at all for that blurry moving background on Steam sign-in window! Frankly, it makes me sick physically (I have some issues, yes - but nevertheless).
I want my Steam to look old-fashion. Simple. Plain. Easy to process and navigate.
I want to have an option of what I want to see and what I DO NOT want to even ever be mentioned! And no, it's not about adult context (though having to verify it every time is a bother but whatever). It's just about all those unnecessary announcements and pop-ups and embellishments.
Give me back my boring black-and-white boxy UI.
Give me back options to chose and pick my settings - and SAVE and remember them!!!

What tip me over the edge today - Steam starting in a weird-size window EVERY. FREAKING. TIME!!! that I start it and log in.
I usually had it in a half-screen on the side, so I can watch youtube or read discord or something.
I don't have two monitors, so having it split that way was best for me. And before - I set it up and it would remember this setting. Now it "forgets" and reverts to default every time I restart Steam for whatever reason, including restarting my computer.
And as I said earlier - I have hoped for it to be resolved. After all, it has being quite some time.
But it doesn't look like anyone cares....

This post probably wouldn't help either, but at least I've vented.

Not to mention they took away the "skins" option so you can't disable "what's new" or other useless things that slow down the client

Also, I HATE the splash screen they shove down your throat on startup, stealing window focus away form whatever you are typing/doing.

I hate that the entire Steam UI opens every time you log into a game. I open ESO and it brings the store up and other crap that I don't wish it to do. If I want to browse the store, I'll bloody open it myself, I do not like this one bit. I've been through the settings and can't locate any way to stop it from doing this.

Wtf is going on valve?
I open steam and it goes small mode then opens the store wtf,if i want to to goto the store i would do it myself. your not making enough money nowdays so resorting to this.

I double click on a game down my list and it scrolls to the top and loads a different game wtf.
Revert back to the old ui there was nothing wrong with it.

I cannot log into friends as well damn this ui is the worst i'v ever seen.
Also while your at it sack the idiots who made this ui.

Has a new data deal been done with a third party for more revenue? Why we even need launchers is beyond me. I remember the first head scratch moment when I bought a game from a real store to take it home and for it to force me to download this thing called steam. I remember thinking, why the hell do I need another program to run a game. Once third parties get involved your being used.

Bear with grandma here - I don't even know what it is and how to use it.
I mean - I've heard about them before quite some time ago (means - several years at least), tried and didn't like it, and reverted to plain boring bare-bones Steam client. At least that as far as I remember.
I always use any program/app in their simplest form, down to bare minimum, unless I need some extra for actually doing something.
You can teach an old dog some new tricks, but it will involve a lot of snarling and barking.

P.S. My kids had to "drag me kicking and screaming" to switch from Skype to Discord... I had no choice there and I don't regret it though.
But with this new Steam... Not sure it will ever grow on me, especially with all those bugs creeping over...

All I want is the skins option to be returned so I can customize my interface to look old school, heck, they should add more customization to the interface like being able to change the font and layout of the game information screen not take the little we already had away

People take new dumb everyday. As I said 1000 times before, new/modern doesn't mean better.
