I am on the latest Windows 11 build/the latest stable version of steam and do not see this, something is weird with the 7 build of steam for sure.

Do not worry so bad, i am using Win10 and it happens, its from the update, just restart your steam and it goes away,,,come back tho,,but its not hurting the game play or anything, they will fix it sooner or later bud,,just restart.

So, this is happening on Windows 10 too, I recommended him the LTSC builds Lol. I checked for steam client updates and nothing and mine doesn't have this issue. Windows 11 though not 10.

I am not trying to look cool, and I do not think I know what the issue is, who can look cool helping someone on the forums on steam? Seeing this is a recent error, searching google for this ends up dry. Edit: Finding other post ranging to a year ago about the issue, still no definite fixes.

Try disabling GPU acceleration in steam. settings.
Navigate to Settings, select Interface and then disable the GPU Accelerated Rendering option.

Clear Steam's web browser cache: Steam uses a built-in web browser for various features. Clearing its cache may help resolve issues related to displaying content. To do this, go to "Steam" in the top-left corner of the Steam client, select "Settings," navigate to the "Web Browser" tab, and click the "Delete Web Browser Cache" button.

They rephrased differently in the thing I copy and pasted for some reason. If this doesn't work reinstalling steam and nuking the folder in C:\Program Files (x86) is a last ditch effort.
