Magic To Master Scam & Developer Abuse
The 'developer' (ha!) of Magic To Master has stolen his game files and is passing off a server mod as a game he made.

The reason I am posting here is because said 'developer' (He's not; stealing game files does not make one a developer) is deleting every thread in his steam forum posting about it.

Valve needs to be made aware of him attempting to drum up business by stealing a game he did not make, and silencing critique by removing and banning anyone on his steam forum who dares to speak out against him.

He also filed false DMCA strikes against Callum Upton to silence his review/coverage of this debacle. All Proof here:

In the second video I linked, it was pointed out that the guy was sued by the original game developers.

So this is him attempting to profit off of it again.

Valve should do their part, look at the evidence people have gathered, and prevent him from peddling his stolen assets on Steam.
The problem is if people gather something, are they correct? If someone elses property is being used, they need to issue a DMCA to Valve, which would remove the alleged content until the matter is resolved. If confirmed, the offending "Developer" would likely be permanently removed from Valve. It's best if the immediate party involved defends their content, as anything else primarily can be seen as hearsay, which would have to be irrefutable to be actionable.

Yep, and if Valve takes action and removes it without the copyright owner requesting it and it turns out to be false they can sue valve for a LOT of money.

Hence why the owner has to do it, then Valve is shielded under the law.

Valve will, when the original creator/artist files the DMCA claim. What Valve won't do, is remove a game based on hearsay by random Joe on the internet. They need actual factual evidence, which the DMCA claim will provide.
Not sure why Gameforge didn't send a DMCA to Steam, but given that they're actively pursuing this legally and have successfully halted the Kickstarter...I don't think this will ever actually release on Steam regardless.
