My preference is-
Neither.
Unless or until we can get rid of them by trading or converting them into gems.
I am not likely to use either- I don't use chat often, and I like my own custom avatars I create from screenshots from my favorite game(s).
My 2 Gen Z (adult) children do prefer the avatars over chat stickers, though.
So I guess I would have to vote for the avatars, if asked for my preference between the two.
I'd still vote for being able to trade them or turn them into gems, just to be able to get the clutter out of my inventory, over anything else.
