Who is playing?
ME, the only account I have on this pc or at all. One account, why do I have to pick who is playing when there is only one option?

Steam > Settings > Interface >>> turn off "Ask which account to use when Steam starts"

It seems like you're frustrated with Steam's "Who's Playing" prompt even though you're the only account on your PC. While it might seem unnecessary to choose when there's only one option, Steam's "Who's Playing" feature is designed to accommodate multiple users on the same system.

If you're consistently the only user on your PC and find the prompt bothersome, you might be able to adjust the settings to minimize or disable the prompt. Here's how you can do it:

1. **Open Steam**: Launch the Steam client on your computer.

2. **Go to Settings**: Click on "Steam" in the top-left corner of the Steam window, then select "Settings."

3. **In-Game Settings**: In the Settings window, navigate to the "In-Game" tab.

4. **In-Game Overlay Settings**: Look for the "In-Game Overlay" section. You can adjust the settings related to the "Who's Playing" feature here. You might be able to disable it or adjust its behavior.

5. **Save Changes**: Once you've made the changes, don't forget to click the "OK" button to save your settings.

In Game settings have nothing to do with the login window prompt.

Why are you using ChatGPT that keeps on using misleading information? At least fact check it before posting it.

Because marketing and media coverage has convinced ordinary people to believe that ChatGPT is the almighty savior.

The bot also changes its name and avatar to try to hide themselves.

The best part is that all the wrong responses will just feedback more wrong information to the bot since it's scrubbing forum responses.

It is scrubbing not only Steam responses but reddit, quora and all those rarely used sites.

but honestly? got no problem with that, as long as its not outdated info...

(actually... its kind of weird if everyone only uses GPT to answer, isnt it?)

Those aren't the correct settings for this topic.

Well, let's give the right info here:

OP can disable the "who is playing" in settings >> Interface >> Ask which account to use each time Steam starts

https://imgur.com/a/blfluha

Edit: Damn... didn't notice the necro thread :(

Lol, people are complaining exactly because even disabling that (or not even having it enabled at first), they still get the prompt... Btw, I found some threads on Reddit about that, seems to be a bug considering lots of people are experiencing the same thing.
