1 Million Dollar Steam Game

There have been some outrageously priced Steam games in the past, but now there is a new one set for $999.999. One million dollars.

What do you think about this? Do you think there should be a cap to how much you can price your game at? I honestly didn't think it would be possible for a random game developer to set their price point that high on Steam.

And I don't know why the developers would do this, other than for publicity... I mean they aren't getting any money from it. Just wanna hear your guys' thoughts

This game got less than 20 reviews in the span of two months and usually flows away with the other low-effort games. Pricing it that high works as indeed because you it stirs discussions and is basically free advertisment.

It's a Free Market economy so anyone can price their product as high as they want. It will either sell or it will not. If someone wants to drop a cool million on the game, that's up to them how they spend their money, no one else
