How do I file a complaint to Steam, about Steam itself?
Or put it another way, how do I complain to Valve about steam?

Any suggestions?

Another option would be to just launch your games and play them.

But hey do whichever gives you the most satisfaction from your gaming dollars.

hahahah this is funny. Want to complain to steam? Go find a wall, start banging your head against it. Steam doesn't seem to HAVE support. (I spent a full week looking for a way myself.)

In my case, the game fixed the issue but I have to say, I only play ONE game off steam and if that goes away I will gladly just trash steam for good.
ZERO support would be the reason.


So if you manage to find actual support, OTHER than posting in an open forum board, please let us all know.
I doubt you would find one. Just like google and so many others, "customer support" is a thing of the past.

Your issues was a game issue. Game devs are responsible for that support, not Steam.

Correct. you can create a general ticket with Steam Support (yes, it's possible, just go to the bottom of the "data related t your account" page in the support pages), but as said they'll brush you off with the standard "post it in the forums, the devs look there" or "we'll forward it to the correct department" boiler plate answers.

Not that the complaint threads on the forums do much. We'll have to wait in Valve time for Valve to fix the issues with the UI.

You know, I have to admit: I've always been curious how Steam would react to an official notice of default for failing to fulfill legal or contractual obligations. When it comes to issues such as this, where the stability and usability of the platform is noticeably impacted for consumer end-users, the case for such seems not entirely baseless.

I suppose it would depend on which contractual obligations Valve failed to fulfill. In this case, if the OP could provide evidence for the claim that his pc, home, and neighboring property were in fact destroyed by a space/time rift caused by the new Steam UI, that would be a strong case indeed. But if it was more that "the new UI is glitchy and I don't like it" then I would imagine it wouldn't go as far.

i tell alot of people to try steam, its not a bad set up, you just have to be careful with what you do, i have lots of friend that game on steam, and have enjoyed many steam games.

steam is a victim of fraudulent developers as much as users are, its easy to get angry at the merchant, but its not often times the merchants fault when the quality of the goods are poorly made.

if they did not sell the games, the people who want to buy them would get angry over that as well, so you can't always win in these circimstances you just have to make the choice that is right for you.
