Every game on that list works on 10 and 11
Unreal Gold even works, as well as Mechwarrior 4
People saying games won't work on 10 or 11 are guessing.
are we generalizing peoples experiences? not everyone is just "guessing".
Anyways to answer question no you don't lose your ability to play any game going from windows 7 to 10, or 11, or even switching to linux if really wanted. And some of us are actually honest, and forward to answering question, and pointing out any problems, and even provide fixes to some games.
Some old games may need fixes where it can be very simple, or little effort but most of it easy to solving the issue:
- Can be easy as installing a driver you needed.
- Can be easy as enable/disable one game setting.
- Can be easy as enable compatibility mode.
- Can be easy as drag, and drop a file to fixing the issue like community made patch, or api renderer translater for game.
- Can be little effort to opening a game file, and add command, or text line which often you just copy, and paste for most part as lots of people make guides on this, or even just change screen resolution that about it.
- Can be little effort to using emulator such as dosbox for custom config for new people.
Like it really depends on game in question, can either run out of the box, or do one of the things above I listed. If got any question, just ask there no harm, and someone may likely help you out, often times best to ask in game own sub forum if there an issue as well. I make guides on some games fixing problems, and I give things a spin to see which game has problems if any, as I don't come across many games that has problems, normally it games made for windows 98 ~ Xp are the problem I seen, anything after those time era not a issue at all really if any, again feel free to ask any question, that what the community for really.
not everyone has zero issues running games and every pc setup is different.... im not going to sit around naming games, so you can simply say "they work, trust me bro, i didnt have to do anything to get them working either, again trust me bro".
you cant lump everyones experiences in with your own and sit around justifying it like "if it doesnt happen to me, then its not actually happening".
how about you buy and play every game (i mean every game, first game ever to last currently released), while using win 10 and video record it and come back here and show us.

I know I ran into issue running old rayman games, but manage to fix that issue, and make them work with controller.
That is my screenshot of CoD 1 on Windows 11 Pro
See the rounded corners on the window? You only get that on Windows 11
There's no "trust me bro" about it.
The game simply works.
ignoring the fact that every pc setup is different as well.
btw, you didnt show if you had to fiddle to get it working beforehand... otherwise "trust me bro" isnt really working here.
btw, we need video evidence, pics dont really do the job.
EDIT
I also did not have to do anything to get it to run.
The only thing not working here, is your "It won't run games" argument.
get them all, test them while video recording (obs is a good choice) and come back to let us know how it went.
i never made that argument, i told you dont lump your experiences in with others, cause not everyones computer is the same or how something runs or works is the same....
you paying me for my time?
no?
then do the work yourself, you said they just work and everyone who has issues is wrong, care to elaborate?
if you dont see it, it doesnt exist?
