I got an i5-3470 with 8gb ram and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GT 1030. Get over yourself. XD
Well neither their PC or Steam account is going to be destroyed... so I mean bit dramatic. There's multiple free upgrade options if maintaining access is a priority.
But if you want to use a stupid car analogy, you probably can't drive a car for 14 years without spending money on maintenance and repairs either.
In like 6 or 7 years. Plenty of time to deal with that.
I'm on Linux BTW. EndeavourOS.
PC can no longer serve the function of playing Steam games.
wasnt talking about me, but thanks i guess for the check

pc's the time when microsoft forced a win 10 downgrades?
But just like with cars you can upgrade your old PC with better parts.
Especially if it's an older PC, you can find old parts that were then top of the line and compatible with your hardware for absolute dumping prices now (and sometimes even for free) second handed.
XD
My own setup is ♥♥♥♥. But I mostly retrogame anyway so as long as I got an OS, im happy.
It's mostly fear. Lots of people just hate change in general
