Why is there an ARM processor in your tablet but an x86 processor in your PC? ARM processors tend to focus on things like smaller form factors, battery life, size, efficiency, low heat generation, and cost. This is why ARM cpus dominate small portable electronics and mobile devices.
There are x86 tablets out there, like the Microsoft Surface, and there are ARM based PCs out there like Chromebook laptops. The Steam Deck is a good example of a portable device with an x86 processor in it.
