Correct.
It usually involves thinking moderating is targeting specific users but it changes from time to time.
That's 100% on those users if anything goes wrong.
You click on a website what looks like your "login with", even if you only need to click login, no details.
But actually the real login with happens on the attackers computer.
Like a trojan window. But for that to happen you need to visit a bad site. Or a good site must be altered. Or you have something on your computer.

a unsupported OS
its a user neglect problem all the way through....
Or use the mobile app, if you have a phone/tablet.
It would be ironic the account would be in good order and not hacked 5 years after the OP purposely locked themselves out from it (despite any excuses they are using), but can't access the account because of a ban.
In either event that's on the OP to do something about.
