DX11.1 on 7 is in a limited capacity, same as DX12 on the same OS
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/direct3darticles/platform-update-for-windows-7
You are still limited to DX11_0 feature level and you are still limited to WDDM 1.1
so if you want to use the newer APIs as intended then you need to upgrade the OS or use alternatives such as Vulkan and even then its not ideal on 7 cause both NVIDIA and AMD don't really update their Win7 GPU drivers anymore outside of security updates.
if so try disabling it and installing the update?
I just wanted to have this if that might fix the issue on that game. However I still csnt check if I have DX11.1 because of crap dxdiag show only DX11 and donno what that mean.
i dont know if you posted that already.
technically you can load up GPU-Z and it will tell you which DX version your hardware actually supports and then also show the optional features supported by your GPU/OS/GPU driver
dxdiag will only show the installed DX version at the system level.
?
gog yes no clue for the others ...
