I miss Windows 7 but It's ancient at this moment, but I don't really care. I will keep using it, even if it will be unsupported soon.
And i like this profil photo.
The profile picture is Nahida from Genshin Impact if you're wondering.
Im from around the same era PC i5-3470, RX 580 also Win7 x64 Pro
Im so happy that Steam not bricked Win7.
Im planning to go to Linux Mint, but only when there is no more room for Win7.
Also I listening doomsaying for like 3 years about how unsecure I am, still nothing stoled/hacked yet.
We are on the same boat so, mint will also be my next os.
Hard to say, I've never needed to use that feature in a long time. I only remember having to set it on a certain game to make it work back on Win8.1 or Win10 because the game just didn't know what to do with more cores.
These days I just don't need to bother.
Not sure what your issue is.
Go to Google or whatever search engine if you want to use it. Microsoft are going to use theirs.
I rarely need to search for stuff on my PC because I keep things organized. Also if it's the start menu, you should only use it for looking for programs in the start menu.
No, my PC is a PC. Not a console.
Force what upgrade? Windows 11? If so they didn't do it on my brothers PC when he was on Win10 and had the hardware for 11.
I also was on 10 for a while before moving to 11 on my own free will.
If it's just normal Windows update I don't get the issue. I update every other program, why would I have an issue with a windows update?
my recommendation stop buying microsoft servives once and for all, delete all apps named microsoft, cortana, skype, those are the most annoying, like a virus, except not detected by antivirus
Not gonna happen in at least 10 years. Users and firms are too deep into MS - Windows+Office+Outlook/Exchange + MS SQL Server
AutoCAD does not work on Linux
You? Old?
Probably in the mid 20s by the look of your writing and being unreasonable angry for people just enjoying things that work.
Ofcource, it won't happen, unless you start spreading rumors about it, thats how it goes in american society and not directly to microsoft site, they just won't listen.
It should not be just one provider who can take over the world, same with electricity if there's only one provider they can dictate whatever price they want
And yes Linux has limited options too, I'm using it too, well at least steam is trying to support Linux too, but not all games can be run from there
Unless you are very small, Java is mostly a paid service too! :) So is MySQL.
(MySQL is free, but tech support for it is not. And usually if you are making something big you will need tech support.)
Linux is free
Linux has gotten better with time
Linus has become more friendly user
Come to Linux
