i can still run win95 games on my win 10 machine first off

second, they terminated the support for security and techninal reasons


also i see people being unable to read the original post by valve about, they aint locking you out, they said they wont release updates for that version of the machine

people don't listen to reason. or official statements. they bandwagon that "Windows 7 is still alive and valve are trying to silence the smart! down with valve!" while ignoring any semblance of logic or fact

hes really not wrong. its gonna be the same with windows 7. its absolutely not a good idea when its gonna become a nightmare of viruses and such in the next year

You Windows 7 users can be happy for a little longer: Latest beta note say the version of CEF the client uses has been updated to 109.0.5414.120 which I believe still supports Windows 7.

Yep.

109 is the last version to support Windows 7.

This specific version of Chrome is the actual last version of Chrome/CEF that supports Windows 7.

Any future CEF updates for the client will be Chromium versions that Windows 7 isn't supported on.
