Oh, everyone will eventually go with another OS. Some will keep with Win 7 for years still. Same as it always goes. I mean, you can still install & run Steam on XP! Me, I'm on Linux primarily (Mint, Ubuntu, Tails) and 3 flavours of Windows. I didn't rush to upgrade from my Commodore PET to a Unisys Icon, either.

Threads like this (because of people's adverse reactions) simply make me chuckle. Thanks for that.

There is a main issue. Win10 or 11 do not feels like upgrade. Microsoft still did not make new OS of good old win7 level. I used all 3, so had enough of experience of OS usage. For example people upgrade from xp to 7 on their own (without free upgrade programs, without 'stop update' tricks and so on). But still do not like do it from 7 to any other, so people surelly have some reasons.

You can install Steam on XP, but you aren't going to do anything but post on the forums as you cannot install or even download games.

Your logic about 'someone was going, but decide' is a fairy tale, every time people say, when new OS had been released.
