How to make console commands permanent
I want to make these permanent but I don’t know how to add them to launch options
viewmodel_fov 15
viewmodel_offset_y -2
viewmodel_offset_x -2

Right click on the shortcut and chose properties. On the shortcut tab in the target field click the end of it and add a single space then add the commands like this.

-viewmodel_fov 15 -viewmodel_offset_y -2 -viewmodel_offset_x -2


So as an example i'll use my half life command line

It will look like this if you done it right.

M:\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\hl.exe -dev -console

Notice how there is a space after the quotes then the hyphen then the command then another space and then the hyphen and command. You can do this for how many as you need. Just make sure you use a hyphen in front of the command then add a space if adding another command

It’s for csgo
Still the same way. I was using my half life game as an example of how your csgo line will work. it's the same for all games.

I added it to the launch options and no changes

Its been a long time for me, but Im pretty sure you need to dump that stuff into an autoexec.cfg file for Source games.
