Did you buy the cards from a reputable source or was this a cornershop under-the-counter deal? You should provide Valve the receipt of the transaction which will include all the activation information they require.

You need to make your purchase in the region where you're currently located, by using a payment method that's associated with a local address. We at Steam Support can't change the Store Country on your behalf.

Steam store prices and currencies are based on your location. You'll see all available payment methods for your region during the checkout process.

You can make changes to your store region only when you move to another region.

Please review our Steam Store Country article for more information.

I am very sorry but i am not sure how to proceed, if i proceed to change my region to Niger (the country i am curently in) will i be able to re-redeem the steam cards, because when i try to re-redeem them the system says they have already been redeemed or something like that, but they were used on my account and the amount showed up in my account but after a while just resetted to 0, is that normal? How should i proceed please

It appears that you've previously proxied or used VPN to disguise your actual location in order to make purchases in another region, or to register Wallet Codes not available in your region. You will need to wait 3 months before you can update your store country again. In the meantime, you can continue making purchases by using a local payment method that matches your current store country settings on your Steam account.

Continuing to use IP proxy or VPN software may extend the 3-month wait. Please disable any VPN or IP proxy software when you're using Steam or remove it from your computer to avoid this issue.

At this time, Steam Support is not able to help you in updating your store country. You'll need to wait 3 months before you can make further changes to your store country/Steam Wallet currency.

Running on coffee,
Drei

the cards were added to my account, i saw the 40+ usd with my own eyes.... but then poof they were gone... u see how frustrating that is?

When you buy a wallet card, it has to match the region of your account. If it doesn't you wont be able to use those funds for 3 months. It really is that simple. You cannot use a VPN for this and do not buy from shady sources. The responses from Support you should read carefully.

Did you make sure to update your region to your new country?

Did you purchase cards for your region and not your old one?

Buy something with that country bank account and local address, you live and work there & these things should be issued to you. After that your country origin will change.

Nothing in that context said you were sanctioned... Also check your purchase history, to see what happen. As all support said they believe you used VPN, and can't help change you either way, as you can change your store region in 3 months.
https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/

I have a feeling you login to a phishing site, or gave your account to someone, so if you seen spending on the account that wasn't by you this can happen such as:

- A friend contacted you asking you to VOTE for their team, and gave you a scam link to login to scam site.

- Someone contacted you claiming they reported you, or pretending to be Steam support / mod / admin, claiming you have pending ban, or whatever BS story, to get you to give them stuff, or login to scam site.

- You were using skin gambling sites where there scams on those sites, as they steal people accounts.

You have to figure it out what you did to not do it again if someone got access to your account.

FYI card can only be redeem once, not multiple times so if you already use them, can't reuse it again. but If you bought the card recently from a store, or online that you haven't used the card yet, then you been scammed as they sold you a used card.

Then this means you used the card, so cant be used again. Also check your history Steam support does not take funds away from you.

Stop telling BS lie, that not even the reason, and you know that, if you're living in a sanctioned country you already know your problem, this has NOTHING to do with english...

Nigeria... The reason why short form is censor is because people trying to use that word as racial term again others hence censor word, HAS NOTHIGN TO DO WITH country, or state, so If you're actually in that country, then I don't see the problem to your claim, and not sure why you're bringing up Lebanon if you had already switch within last 4 years, unless you never change region to begin with.

Region restriction became a thing years ago, and why they ask you to change region to correct country you're currently livinig at the moment.
