Reply politely to the warning.
Replying politely to the warning is not arguing .
thats what a common human would think, which is NOT what happens on steam. we both know this, but they still would consider it arguing, its quiet pathetic what mods get away with.
Been here a long time. Replying politely is not going to make things worse.
Thats literally not true, I have gotten rid of 2 warnings with the help of Support myself.
more people will see it maybe even their bosses and theyll get in ♥♥♥♥.
if they have a support email send them a polite email asking if its an accidents =)
Curious was it support or a game hub mod, and what game?
Else you can make a support ticket, but ensure you come across genuine and polite.
I see some rude messages in your post history. Keep in mind that it's not always what you say, but how you say it. You can make a point without calling things trash, pathetic, etc.
That's why you're being told here to respond politely.
Anyway, OP, I would recommend contacting support about it. As others mentioned, I have also had an erroneous warning removed through this method. Frankly, you have nothing to lose. But again, also as others have said, if or when you submit your ticket, respectfulness and humility go a long way.
You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar
Note the rule OP seems to be wary about says: Do not Openly argue with a moderator. Ban/warning notices are private.
THAT is abuse. Abusive mods REPEATEDLY do it.
The problem with steam mods is that they only use auto generated, prepared responses to try and "prevent offending" people.
Then why do people get offended?
Last month I sent a ticket repeating the word abuse, over and over again. The mods locked my tickets for a month. Awwww, what's the matter, don't like being called out on your own HYPOCRISY?
It all started when I made a topic on steam general called "mod abuse". It was deleted.
Ex mods confirm my concerns.
Cops confirm evasive habits proves GUILT.
Therapists say it's important to hold the harder conversations.
I have every reason to believe wilful ignorance gets people killed from ignorance and stupidty. Abusive mods REPEATEDLY do this. Over and over to many people.
It does get people not only hurt, but also killed. Online. I know this.
This is all prevented by listening and paying attention. This is all prevented by not making excuses to shut down communication when you don't like what you hear. Do that and problem solved.
The reason people try to silence you is because they are afraid of how their own actions can hurt others. This leads to evasive habits, when people are being close minded. Which in turn leads to trying to avoid accountability, refusing to consider their own good intentions can be the problem.
The abusive steam mods ignored concerns about danger, sanity and even death. After abuse was called out. Repeteadly Are you people ok with this?
Abusive mods, refusing to listen: You ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.
