Confused - Library tab is missing

Did I miss a big event ? My game library is missing and I'm not sure who I tell about it, or what I should do.

Any ideas?

Probably. It's the only place that doesn't have a Library tab.

Try top left. Click on Steam. Go to settings; interface. At the bottom click on set taskbar preferences. You can choose what you want there.

Thank you Ima Noid, and cSgimc for stopping by and offering your help. Ima, I clicked on steam, but I didn't get the page that showed Game, view, etc on the very top left hand side {in pale gray.} I'm stuck on the Store page.

Maybe it's because I'm trying to load Steam on a new computer :( they had problems with my sign in , password, etc. Thought playing a game would take away some of the stress LOL

Any ideas on next steps?

You can't access your library through the browser.

If you're accessing steam through store.steampowered.com, you need to click on the green bar that says "install steam". When that downloads, access Steam through the software, not the browser.
After that, then:
Try top left. Click on Steam. Go to settings; interface. At the bottom click on set taskbar preferences. You can choose what you want there.

Ima -you are correct, I'm in a browser window that opens into the store page. I've gone through the install three times. Unlike previous times, steam only loaded the last 4 games into the computer instead of my whole library. I've refreshed the page frequently, shut down, restarted, etc.
Never did get a steam page - when I click on Steam I get a "welcome to steam" page that is the browser window.
Thanks for your moral support and abundant help. I can't play a game, I'm feeling tired, and I think I call it quits for a while.
