There are more and more games like these popping up to milk users even more.. and those with the bigger wallet usually wins..
Same goes with games like City Skylines and The Sims.
They sell these games for 2 EUR from time to time and even gone Free-2-Play, but all their ridiculous DLCs of hundreds of EUR.. nah.. I also boycot these games with that amount of DLCs. Why should I play an incomplete game when this game is completed with 1000 DLCs?!
It is a shame on the Anno Series as well as Anno 1800 has also gone this ridiculous DLC path. I am not playing it due to this.. and I have been an Anno fan since 1602.
But for me I would say lot of games are not "pay to win" but release in small version then expand constantly in micro stuff or just skins or similar..... but I personally do not think there is lots of P2win games.... except small phone like games...

I think one that you pay to buy is better....

ONLY in a f2p game. This is how this ♥♥♥♥♥ began in the first place.
Btw. I tend to avoid all games I have to pay for with in game shops like the blight they are.
Why buy the game if you already know it's a blunder.
Edit: Not microtransactions but copious amount of DLCs obviously.
