Will i get the steam deck profile etc. if i buy Steam Deck from a 3rd party retailer (it's not available through steam in my country)

So i live in turkey and through valve the deck isnt available,however reputable retailers are somehow selling it here,im guessing they're importing them? Would I be still be able to get the steam deck perks for my profile if i bought the deck through them?

This stuff's tied to the serial#. That boils the question down to how much you trust this reseller to not open the package & redeem the boni.

Hey, if the Deck is sealed and new, then it will unlock the profile features after the first time you logged into steam on the deck.

tbh true,these sellers dont really seem trustworthy,maybe i'll buy a steam deck abroad and activate it my account later on

If you are 1000% sure in reseller then yea you would get all from account. Look on it same as starting your steam account from other PC it is identical situation.

But if I was buying steam deck I would bought it from legit source since considering the risk with losing stuff from account If I ever decide to get deck I would get it from official source.

yea,i'll buy when i travel outside turkey,no "tech shops" in turkey sell steam deck sadly
