you should check the policy of the game. some games dont just ban the account, the user is banned from the game and making an alt account is treated as BAN EVASION and grounds for a ban to be applied to the new account, even if the new account has not broken any rules.
Any account used to cheat will be banned if detected as well, it's just a matter of "when".
I would not use the same PC to play any game with an anticheat if you're banned from a game.
This^.
Note DBD doesn't really do this neither does EAC. These are generally bad metrics to base an actual ban off of as they are generally easily circumvented (changing your dhcp ip, or faking slight hardware changes), or generate false positives especially IP based bans (Ip recycling of the ISP resulting in some random person getting a ban). EAC and other anti-cheats will use such metrics as an indicator of cheats, and will upgrade scans from these systems to 'welcome to the dungeon' levels of scanning, but they won't ever ban solely based on those metrics.
Its simply more likely that cheaters
1) forget to remove their cheats
2) cheat creators are not very good at making the uninstall/removal process easy and thus its fairly common for users to have cheats still running despite their 'removal'
eac in fact DOES commonly do/use HARDware bans... its quite imfamous in apex...and in rust.....
THIS IS WHY BUYING SECOND HAND PARTS for unbelievable prices sometimes HURTS you
legit stolen reddit report testing the theroy
I can confirm they HWID ban. Regardless if you were hacked by some Moscow Russians and they went ham on your account. (ask me how it know).Through a-lot of back and fourth with EA reps and them confirming my suspicions, my account remains ban. I have all the chat log proving I did nothing wrong lol.
So how do I know they HWID ban. Simple. When I got the notice that my account was banned I went ahead and started a fresh mad EA account. Reinstalled Apex after raging a little and uninstalling it, (give me a brake I spent money on that account two days prior and I got banned) and it was ban with in the third game.
Fast forward a couple weeks. I installed another SSD that was on my second gaming rig. I made this my main bot drive. I formatted my SSD and installed windows. I am now level 20 with out any issues. It's been three days since I have attempted this and so far everything seems like it's working.
In addition, this is from EAC-" The EAC ban cannot be removed regardless of who was using your account at the time it was banned. While we understand this can be frustrating we must have a zero tolerance policy for cheating to foster a fair game that players will enjoy. In order for a zero tolerance policy to be effective we must hold users responsible for the security of their account. When using Steam, please see the Account Security Recommendations FAQ to secure your account from attackers. "
These anti-cheat programs do not ban just on IP or HWID. Every anti-cheat company has long abandoned these as the sole metrics to ban users. Because again these result in false positives and false negatives too often. They are jsut that . Metrics. Yes you are far more likely to cheat again if you come in on those metrics, but they will never ban you just because of them. Again these are things that are generally circumvented by cheat programs anyway, which is why again anti-cheat programs dont rely on them
Again you cheating on multiple accounts is all on you. Its convenient when cheaters spread FUD to disparage anti-cheat systems because its the only thing they can do. Spread FUD because doing so reduces trust in the anti-cheat systems which is their goal.
