Report a translation problem
The new interface was added a few months back if memory serves me well, but that's also very buggy too (as evidence by your post). It's also a regression in some ways since there's some features been stripped from the old BPM such as music players, Community tabs, and the new controller configuration page is actually worse from a UX perspective with some options not working the way they used to and it required more buttons/clicks to do the same as the old UI.
However, it's still a work in progress clearly, so hopefully Valve get it fixed up asap.
Too bad that you won't get any here. Since here they are only steam loyalist who will kiss Valve all the way.
I wished they were better alternatives to Steam Input & Big Picture. A open-source initiative would be better. Wished Microsoft would wake up and implement something like those within their OS.
