DLSS
I’m currently playing Uncharted The Lost Legacy Collection with all settings maxed out on a 4K TV and DLSS Quality mode enabled and a rock solid 60fps.
My 3080 12GB has tons of overhead available.

My question is: What DLSS mode is most desirable, QUALITY, BALANCED, or PERFORMANCE?

I’m not looking to get a higher frame rate than 60fps.

Should be able to run Native 4k without any DLSS if targetting 60 FPS. But DLSS Quality, has the better image... well Quality lol
Turn DLSS off

Ideally, turned off. If the system has the performance to run the game at the desired resolution and performance settings at adequate FPS.
DLSS off/Ray Tracing maxed out. Reduce until you hit your FPS floor threshold (minimum acceptable fps). From the sounds of it, you may not have to reduce anything.

I don’t need DLSS but I figure it’s good to have on because my gpu works less and electricity is saved and thus the planet.

You may want to run Aida64 or similar to verify the peak wattage when gaming (I keep track of both CPU and GPU wattage on my PC using Aida64). The difference may be negligible if you have everything else cranked up.
